THERE’S A SINGLE PARENT APPRECIATION DAY

My friend Drea (who I like to call my blog coach because she was the one to cheer me on, help me get started and actually name Mom Solo) sends me some awesome stuff because she somehow manages to read everything cool that gets published.

Anyway, she sent me this article  by Kerri Zane, written on Single Parent Day, which, I guess was last Thursday. I think Kerri is on to something….

Though I didn’t know March 21st was my special day, I celebrated by taking Spenser to gym class and having a lovely lunch with one of my dearest friends, who is newly a single parent.

Spenser celebrated by having a 3 hour nap.

Then we shared a high chair tray of small healthy foods.

Enjoy.

Not only did I enjoy the article and the mini blog post that directed me to it, but the nonsequitur video about Real Business Needs Real SDN. That was engaging and enlightening, though I didn’t understand a word. It took me the whole video to realize it has nothing to do with this website. Is this some radical new kind of advertising? I was unawares and so I endured the whole ad. Brilliant.
