Tonight, we were driving home from a lovely visit with my dear friend Ben. It was dark out which was new and exciting for a two and a half year old who doesn’t really remember what it was like to be out in the dark nighttime, around 7pm.
“More Ben, more eating, more nighttime” Spenser said, which told me he’d had a nice time. He was drinking water in his car seat. Then I heard him say “Oh crap.”
Me: What did you say?
Sp: Oh Crap.
Me: What does that mean?
Sp: Mama said it.
Oops. I called my sister and she confirmed, I say “Oh crap” a lot. It’s not swearing exactly, but it’s not so nice. Crap. I need a new curse word.

It happens to the best of us Mom’s. Lucky it was just Crap.
I agree… It’s just crap =) My 3 year-old says “blimming” all the time – “Where’s my blimming Woody? She didn’t even learn it from me or the husband. She got it from Raymond Brigg’s animation film “Father Christmas”. So yes, it’s his fault.
Lol too funny!
